Mattress Firm Coupon Codes Cut Up to $700, Wired Reports

Mattress Firm shoppers can save as much as $700 on select mattresses through a series of promo codes detailed in a WIRED buying guide published Oct. 20, the outlet reported, including an email sign-up discount, instant credits toward adjustable bases, and markdowns on hybrid models.

How much can shoppers save by signing up for emails?

Mattress Firm gives new email subscribers 15% off their first order, according to WIRED. The discount cannot be combined with other coupons and does not apply to several brands sold at Mattress Firm, including Nectar, Purple, Sealy Hybrid, Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster and Serta iComfort, the outlet reported.

Which codes unlock instant credits on adjustable bases?

Buying a qualifying Tempur-Pedic mattress and entering code TEMPURGIFT at checkout brings a $300 instant credit toward adjustable bases, including the Tempur-Ergo, Tempur-Ergo Smart Base, Tempur-Ergo ProSmart Base, Tempur-Ergo ProSmart Air Base or the Sealy Ease Base, according to WIRED. The same $300 credit applies to shoppers who buy a qualifying Stearns & Foster mattress and use code STEARNSGIFT, the outlet said. A Sealy mattress purchase paired with code SEALYGIFT yields a $200 instant credit toward select Sealy and Tempur-Pedic adjustable bases, per WIRED's guide.

What other discounts does Mattress Firm advertise?

WIRED's guide also flags a discount for military, medical, student and teacher shoppers, listed at 20% off. The outlet's published guide does not specify the exact code or checkout process for that discount beyond naming the eligible groups.

How do mattress prices compare across retailers?

WIRED's price listings show a Purple Restore Cool Touch mattress priced at $2,099, down from $2,399 — a 13% discount — available both through Purple's own site and Mattress Firm, while Wayfair lists the same model at $2,099 as well, according to the outlet. A standard Purple mattress is priced at $2,399, down from $2,699, an 11% discount, per WIRED. Separately, a DreamCloud Hybrid Mattress is listed at $649, down from $1,892, a 66% discount, the guide shows.

Where can shoppers find the current codes?

The codes and listed prices are current as of WIRED's Oct. 20 publication date and are subject to change, the outlet noted. Shoppers can review the full list of codes, exclusions and current adjustable-base offers in WIRED's Mattress Firm coupon guide, which the outlet says it updates as deals shift. Mattress Firm carries brands including Sealy, Tempur-Pedic, Nectar, Purple, DreamCloud and Stearns & Foster both in stores and online, according to the guide, and some models are priced lower at Mattress Firm than on a brand's own site, per WIRED's price comparisons.

The guide does not disclose an expiration date for any of the listed codes, and WIRED advises checking the retailer's site directly before completing a purchase, since instant-credit offers are tied to specific adjustable-base models and mattress tiers.
